Filthy® Founder, Daniel Singer, loves cocktails and was amazed at consistently seeing the best bars in the world serving drinks with awful garnishes. Where most would overlook this detail, Daniel saw an opportunity to make something magnificent. He became obsessed with creating a premium garnish alternative to the salad olives and dessert cherries that were available.
His goal: Make the drinks people love, better.
In 2007, he embarked on a two-year olive pilgrimage exploring hundreds of varieties of cultivatable olives and cherries to find the perfect cocktail garnishes. Returning to the U.S with a few barrels of naturally cured olives, Daniel built the business one bar at a time out of the trunks of cars and on subway trains and bartenders told their friends. Filthy has become widely recognized as the industry standard, served by the best bars, restaurants, hotels, retailers and cruise ships, and are even available on some of your favorite airlines.
