Inspired by both her childhood growing up on a little farm north of Florence, Italy, and the travels of her adulthood, Chef Rita Sodi created Isodi 15 years ago and immediately became a Christopher Street staple. The iconic restaurant recently relocated to Bleeker Street for a bit more elbow room and an enchanting 17th-century-inspired garden, but its warmth and intimacy remain the same, with each dish serving as a love letter to Rita’s rural Northern Italian upbringing.
